I took this photo while I was at final friday. this picture was taken at the Tangent Lab after I went at looked at a gallery. I liked this one over the other pictures I took that night because of the lighting with the rails. I thought it was a good picture for the pattern category because of the shadows as well as stairs winding down and kinda repeating.
I like the mysteriousness of this photo. The dark shadows and winding stairwells give it a feel of the unknown, and also add a bit of depression to the photo.
ReplyDeleteThis one really kept my eyes busy--jumping back and forth from one pattern to another, and it looks like those stairs could just keep winding down forever. Very nice.
ReplyDeleteI really like this photo! I love how the shadows give off an illusion of the stairs going down, but are going up. I love the pattern of the bars and how this everyday thing is so beautiful!
ReplyDeleteI really like this one a lot because of the multiple places that can draw your eye to. There is a certain mysteriousness to it and it feels like a longing for something. very compelling photograph. nicely done!
ReplyDeleteI really love the lines in this photo. And the stark contrast created. I think stairs are a really interesting subject and these fit that bill. It's almost uneasy cause they look a little creepy.
