Artists nurture their ability to find interest or beauty in the mundane, the ordinary and the natural world. Through practice, they accentuate this focus, typically as a driving force in their work. From Observation is a community blog project that engages its participants, students and the community at large to take part in this exercise by finding beauty and interest in their everyday lives.
I like this photo alot because it looks like it was just paint thrown on a wall and something just happend to come out of it.
ReplyDeleteWhen I look at this picture it looks like a bunch of different people in it.
ReplyDeletei love how this is something that seemed to be tossed together but an actual image came out of it. the force of the sumo fighters comes through the photo itself.
ReplyDeleteThis is a neat picture. I had to really stare at it for a minute before I realized that there were figures in the painting and that the whole thing wasn't as random as it seemed to be upon first glance. You can tell someone put a lot of thought into creating it.
ReplyDeleteThe idea/process behind this painting is interesting. As thought the images come out of nothing. This is similar to the act of watching clouds until images come to the surface.
ReplyDeleteI am more concerned with you noticing things in your world that you then decide are important. Once it has been painted on a wall-someone else decided for you:)
