Artists nurture their ability to find interest or beauty in the mundane, the ordinary and the natural world. Through practice, they accentuate this focus, typically as a driving force in their work. From Observation is a community blog project that engages its participants, students and the community at large to take part in this exercise by finding beauty and interest in their everyday lives.
I haven't been through a car wash in a long time so it is interesting to look all the colors that you captured in this picture. Do they actually look that way while you are going through the car wash?
ReplyDeleteanother thing I thought of because of this photo is how sometimes the process is more fun than the end result and how that kinda relates to art. Like what you were saying in class about how an artist will talk more about the process they went through than their finished art piece.
yep-this is exactly what it looked like:)-there were other stages that were far less interesting.
ReplyDeleteMany times the process can be the content. The fact that this was taken at a carwash is what makes it interesting. If it were a painting made of paint in a studio----it would be boring.
