Artists nurture their ability to find interest or beauty in the mundane, the ordinary and the natural world. Through practice, they accentuate this focus, typically as a driving force in their work. From Observation is a community blog project that engages its participants, students and the community at large to take part in this exercise by finding beauty and interest in their everyday lives.
This picture is pretty sweet. I didn't notice that is left ear was folded back in the photo until I read the description. Thought that was great detail.
ReplyDeleteI like the angle and I think going with greyscale on this one was a good call. As you noted--the folded back ear adds a nice little touch. I like the way she's staring straight into the camera, too. It's really hard to look away from those eyes!
ReplyDeleteI love this photograph. It's something that you could see in a gallery. And because its a dog its something everyone can relate to. I could stare at this picture for a long time.
ReplyDeleteHey Chris! This is a really nice photograph~ the lighting in it is really good and you've really captured your dogs expression well with the angle you took it. =)
