I have always thought that natural disasters although bad, are sometimes beautiful. The sheer power that can be unleashed by a stray cigarette is mind blowing. My friends for the last three years has been a hot shot fire fighter and jumps in to these infernos on a regular basis. The power of nature is what i really think is pretty neat in this picture.

Its amazing how much smoke is put off by these fires and people actually go in and fight these things. I like the view of the mountains and how one side looks to be clear of smoke but if you stood at the peak you would be engulfed with smoke from the other side of the mountain.
