This picture was taken in my house. As it can be seen, it is a picture of a lone panda. This referenced me to more of a nature theme. I placed this picture here because it reminded me of the fact that panda bears are endangered and seeing the lone panda sitting around by itself reminded me of the dwindling numbers of its kind, a message to how we should be more kinding and considerate of the animals in this world.

This is a nice example of how to take notice of your world and draw parallels into the rest of the world. Artists use themes such as this to make their work. Is there a scene you could set that would drive the content more clearly? How could you make the panda seem more "(a)lone"?
ReplyDeleteThis post reminds me a lot of the world wildlife foundation logo that has the one panda and all.
ReplyDeleteOne thing I noticed from this post is how we can find meaning out of regular daily things that we usually look over and it makes me think about how with art we either find something we get out of them or we pass by them kinda like the panda or other daily things we see. so its kinda neat for me to think about how if I find meaning out of a picture the more I will start to enjoy it.
