I was watching football downstairs in our basement and saw this candle burning. It caught my eye because there was a draft coming from somewhere that was making the flame flicker. So I snapped this to get a glimpse of the flame as it flickered. I like how at the bottom of the flame there is a sharp line that divides the flame and candle, but at the top of the flame it is fading in with the candle.
In taking this photo you may have noticed that you can capture/freeze things with the camera that the naked eye doesnt have time to see and record.
ReplyDeleteIt would be interesting to take several pictures of the flame from a burning camera and try to magnify this fact.
i really liked this picture because i love fire and what all comes with fire. In this picture i really noticed the movement of the flame and found it really interesting that it is blowing in the same way, but two different flames are formed.
