When I was in the back yard earlier I noticed the shoe print and it made me think of our imprints on the earth. There is no grass or anything, just dead earth, caused by people trampling all over it. It is really a sad photo because of all the harm we do to the beautiful nature around us.
nice post melissa. it does conjure up a lot of meaning. why is it different than say footprints in the sand?
