This is late I realize, but this is my picture from the Museums. I took this at the Ulrich at Wichita State University. It's hard to tell from the picture, but the background is spools of thread. Initally they look like they were just randomly placed, but that is what the sphere is for. It sits on a pole about 10 feet from the spools, and if you stand directly in front of it, it flips the spools upside down, exposing the true picture the spools create. It's very cool, and definitley very unique. I love this, and I could honestly stare at it for a long time.
I never really looked at a shower this way. When we initally got the syllabus, and she was going over what residue was I immediately thought of water. It sticks to everything, in a lot of forms. So after I got out of the shower I took a picture of the water sticking to it. I never would have guessed art would find its way into my shower.

  1. I often find myself being very interested in water. I don't know why, but it is crazy. I mean the whole concept of liquid is amazing. Plus the way water refracts is so amazing. Its everywhere, but we hardly ever notice.

  2. This is a very interesting way to capture the residue.

  3. That picture from the art museum is amazing! I love how the spools are upside down and you can't tell what it is...then glass ball makes the image clear. Very cool.
