This is a tree that I saw when I was out walking around earlier. I just thought it was neat how it had so many different colors and textures going on in the bark.

Artists nurture their ability to find interest or beauty in the mundane, the ordinary and the natural world. Through practice, they accentuate this focus, typically as a driving force in their work. From Observation is a community blog project that engages its participants, students and the community at large to take part in this exercise by finding beauty and interest in their everyday lives.
I never really realized how many different colors there are in tree bark. I like this a lot.
ReplyDeleteI never knew tree bark was grey. I thought it was kind of brown-like.
ReplyDeletethis is an amazing photo... i love how all the different colors of the bark were captured. instead of looking like a tree it looks more like a marble slab. beautiful.
ReplyDeleteI really like the texture to this picture. the pattern the tree makes is really cool too. I actually almost took a picture of a tree with really crazy bark this week so its cool to see that someone else was kinda noticing the same sorts of things.
