Graffiti Tunnel, WO #10

I took this picture in Oklahoma on a side road, above is the actual highway, but i couldn't help but think, this has to be the most graffiti i have ever seen. There is layer after layer of this like it gets updated every summer by some kids passing through commerating every time they come under the bridge.

Glowing Cross

The other day I was just taking some pictures, and I really liked how this one came out. I couldn't figure out how to turn it on it's side, but it reminded me as a cross. I really like how the flash made my dresser glow, and give the image the depth and glow that it has! I thought it came out pretty powerful. It really reminded me of the huge cross at the Church on south Broadway.

Blog #10

This is a picture of one of my shoes. This shoe has a lot of pattern and texture to it. The colors are in a specific order and pattern. The look and feel of this shoe is like a weave.

Page, Kacy log 6,7,8,9

the first is a picture of a reflection I found at the guitar center, I thought is was unique and not really noticeable to just anyone, you had to look closely and the design and that is where you'd find the other guitars.

This one is something that i find most everyone doesnt notice and take in awe of... the sunset. its most beautiful here in kansas where you can see the horizon,No one really stops to watch the awesome experience that happens evryday.
This next is just nature in pattern, on the side of my boyfriends' car he had perfect little icicles all in a row. and if you looked hard enough they were all over, under cars on the roofs, everywhere.
this also was a patch of ice on the car that had a delicate pattern melted throughout, it reminded me of a suriname toad, kind of nature mimicking nature :)

Blog #9

I took this picture of a friends' new tattoo. There is a lot of pattern and and creativity. The hearts on the sides are the same size and the heart in the middle is the biggest.

Blog 10 I think??

I just love this pic because I think snow is so pretty. I also like
how the lines of dirt that weren't covered define the small road and
that it foes for a long way in the pic.

Ashley Standley weekly observation 10

This is a picture of our fireplace in our basement and i took the picture because all the ashes looked like a lot of chaos.

March 29 #10

I took this picture driving on the highway while it was snowing. I liked this picture because the snow looks like a white wall in the middle of the field.

I was at work the other day at Outback Steakhouse and as i was taking a bloomin onion out to a table i realized how cool the bloomin onion looks and how symmetrical it is.

Joshua Hugo- March 29, 2009 (#10)

Pattern again...(I see it everywhere). This was taken in my closet (no, that shirt isn't pink). Over the weekend I had to organize my closet and stuff because family was coming in. Openign it today, I realized how hangers line up single file in a pattern.

March 29

These are some croquet balls i caught in motion. i think its neat the way the camera captured it.
thought this looked like a polluck painting...it was taken at my house. i was desperate...

Roberta Austin Weekly Observation #10

I forgot to take my camera with me anywhere this week to take an observation pic, so I had to find something in my apartment to observe.. This picture is of a cantaloupe that I discovered in the back of my refrigerator. It didn't show up well in the picture, but there were a lot of really pretty, different shades of green, and of course there's lots of lines and interesting patterns.

Brian Beyer -

So I took this picture on my trip to Tulsa this weekend. this is a picture of the city landscape as we drove past it on the highway. it was really neat looking with the rain pouring and the lights of the buildings breaking the blue sky. I thought this picture kinda caught the weather well and how the city with all its colors.

Kelsey Lee

I love this photo! Who thought that a something like this would be artistic. It was just sitting in the middle of the sidewalk, and I snapped the photo. Something with the angles and the rough look to it makes it look wonderful in my eyes. I love the pattern that wasn't really meant to be created.

WO #9

I took this picture of a tree outside my apartment. I like this picture cause it show how one tree splits off into 4.

WO #8

I took this picture looking up through a bush. I liked this picture because of how the sun shines through the small openings.

WO #3

This is a pictue of the sun shining through the clouds. I like this pictue because the sun is not shaped how it usually is because of the clouds.

WO #2

I took this picture as i was driving down the highway on my way back to Wichita after Spring break. I liked this picture because the light towards the top right kind of looks like a cloud instead of a light.

Austin Breitenstein

I took this picture on my way back from colorado. It was really actually pretty hard to drive in and was kind of scary because it actually got really worse. But i thought it was really cool so i took a picture of it.

Austin Breitenstein

I took this picture while i was driving through copper mtn. on my way to Breckenridge. I thought it was really cool with the lines of the mountains and the snow.

Austin Breitenstein

I took this picture when i was on my way to Colorado at 5 in the morning and i thought it was really cool.

i took this one after looking down into my cup to see if i had anything left to drink. i like the swirls and the glassy reflection at the bottom of the glass.
you have to think this one is cool. its a close up picture of a light bulb. the light looks like a soft yellow ball of fire inside the glass bulb.

this is a picture taken at my house...just thought it was cool. wonder what i would think of life if i was confined to seeing what this window sees every day?

Mandee. March22

This is my Uncle throwing two croquet balls, i caputured the motion. I really liked how unique it turned out.

Make up 3 Mandee

This is wire that was all tangled. I though it was cool how creates a sculpture looking thing, its kind of abstract.

Make-up 2

I chose this picture because I think its cool how theres branches and little dots. I also like the composition.

Bridge, WO#9

I was out with some friends cruising the countryside when we found this old bridge on a side road. I like how the bridge still looks in good shape even after years of wear and tear. I also like how the picture has very little color other than the sky and a small patch of green grass.

Mar 23rd obs

This is a pic I thought was really neat. I just like how the water
reflects a different image of the straw and it appears bigger

Olivia See #8

I took this picture at my softball game and i thought it was really cool! I love how the fence is faded and how it really breaks up the picture! I love the line and how i viewed the fence as something different then something that just protects me from balls.

Brian Beyer - WO9

so I was trying to be creative- I put food coloring into glass bottle and took pictures of it. I remembered always thinking how cool it looked when I was a kid but I kind of wished my pictures could capture it better. to me it was always really neat to watch the color grow and expand in the water in interesting patterns. maybe next time I can get a better picture of it.

Roberta Austin Weekly Observations #8 & #9

Over spring break I was walking my dog (we live in the woods) and we happened across this cluster of fungi of some sort. The biggest one was about as big across as a basketball. The colors are what really grabbed me, but there's a lot of interesting lines and patterns going on in there, too.

This one is just looking down at a tree stump. It kind of reminded me of the drawing project we did where we had to keep drawing the same lines over and over again.

This picture was taken at my Uncles house in his garage, we were all sitting around and my uncles dog was in the middle of us laying on her back. She kind of looks like she was flying and I just thought she looked unusual.
A girl at my work put a teaspoon in a blender and accidently turned the blender on with it, when she pulled it out of the blender I thought it looked kind of like a sculpture.

This picture was taken while driving down the road and I really liked the colors in it.

I originally took this picture because all the trash looked like complete chaos but once I took it, it looked like nasty debris and chaos

After being in the car for a long time this Saturday I just started playing with the camera. I took a lot of really stupid pictures, but this one stood out to me. It is a distressed area on a pair of jeans I was wearing. I liked the lines that came out of this shot, and how the distressed area looked right up close.

earlier this break I was working on my house trying to get it ready to sell. Upstairs in my room someone had shot out my window. After flipping out for awhile, I looked out the window, and noticed how distorted the view had become. It may not look as cool as I think it is. But the whole view from the window is pretty sweet.

Joshua Hugo, March 22, 2009

I took this about a couple minutes ago outside in my backyard. This is a picture of a swingset that my family has had for about ten years. I actually remembered how rusted it is and I took this as per this message: youth always fades.

WO 7,8, and 9

This is Texas Stadium, where the Dallas Cowboys used to play. I found the way it was built different then any other stadium because of the different lines and how the structures were ran.
This was driving back from Texas over spring break. I thought the scene was amazing because its hard to drive anywhere now and see for miles.

This was taken over spring break down in Dallas. I thought the way the light reflected in the camera was different.

Observation for mar 15

This is for last Sunday. I was out of town for most of the week. I
took this pic earlier today of my cats observing the outside. I just
liked how they were all sitting the same and looking so intently

Make-up

I think the pattern on this was neat, this was taken at night with a long shutter, so its cool how it turned out, i thought.
