make up

This was just a silly picture at first, until i realized that the window picked up all the reflections and i thought it looked really neat.

Make up

I took this as i was drivning down 21st street. I though it looked so beautiful with the sun behind it.

Joshua Hugo, #17 (late because of illness)

Would have had this up yesterday, but I had a headache. No one ever really notices the patterns and lines on wood, so I thought I'd do one (if there was someone...sorry). I like all the different kind of patterns and line formations that course all over wood.

I went to my parents house the other day and they said this bird had been in that tree for about 4 days and i thought it looked kind of cool

i was at the soccer fields the other day and they had just been mowing and i thought this looked cool

This is a picture of a wall that had mud splatered on it. I liked this picture because it is evenly space with the splatter.

i was at one of my parents friends house and saw these stairs and thought it was really cool looking

i was driving through the flint hills and i thought this looked cool

So i got done mowing my parents yard and the yard next to theirs was freshly mowed and it was really apparent the line and movement of this picture.

This picture stood out to me because of the crazy amount of branches and lines through out the entire picture.
This picture was really nice with all the texture and the biggest thing that stood out to me first was the line of the shingles.
I took this picture cause of the random place of the whole in the fence. It was really cool to see all the pattern and texture of the fence.

I took this picture while I was riding in the car and I liked how you could kind of see a reflection and how the clouds looked.

Melissa Crossman... many posts...

I wasn't sure how many more i needed so here's a whole bunch... :-)

WO8

this was a picture of the front end of my grandparents car after a deer ran in front of them. this is an example of chaos. this was the headlight with some of the deer's fur that got caught in it... :-(

WO9
this was the wood steps coming out of my house onto the patio. This was after it had been raining and the steps were just drying. the wet part made the wood look as though it had been scarred.

WO10

i was getting ready to take a picture of my friend with my phone and my phone is really slow at taking the pic so it turned out looking like she was melting or something. there is almost a pattern in the way that the blurs look like waves and the white line going down the left side of the photo.

WO11

so i was playing rummy with my grandparents and i threw all the cards on the table and scattered them out to take some pics. i used a color effect on my camera and it turned out really neat. i love how the top card in the pile is the most in focus and the most detailed and all the rest seem to blur and fade around the edges.

WO12

okay so this is in my grandma's Santa Room. yes.... she has a santa room and it stays up year round. 99.9% of the santas in this room she has crafted herself. This picture shows me my grandma's love and devotion. She loves her family and she cherishes her history. When she was a kid they didn't get to celebrate Christmas and when we were growing up she has always made sure that we all had Christmas. She has devoted many hours to what she loves, what she does, and what she wants to make sure all of us have. The shelves were put in for all of her stuff by my grandpa and how they meet up in the center of the photo makes it look like its rays or something. this photo also represents chaos and abundance.

WO13

This is one branch of the family tree. this is an example of pattern. I couldn't figure out how to flip the picture. (so if it was turned the correct way...) at the top is photos of my grandpa and grandma when they were little kids. the middle row is my aunt, uncle, and mother when they were 1 year old. this row ranges from oldest first to youngest last. in the bottom row is my cousin (my aunts daughter), my 2nd cousin (her son) and me. this row is organized this way because my uncle has never had a kid, and my cousins and i are all only children. all of these pictures are also our 1 year old pictures. you can also see in the photos the relativity to age in the coloring and clarity of the photos. I also love to look at these photos and see the resemblance in all of our pictures.

WO14

so this is the center of the commons area at the high school I attended. This represents line in many forms. the ceiling itself had a ton of lines going in many different directions and it was sometimes chaotic. when I helped them decorate this year for their prom, they used long pieces of sheer fabric to kind of make a tent in the center. when you are standing directly beneath it, it has many rays that look like a sunburst or something.

WO15

this is a magnolia tree i believe and i thought it was a beautiful representation of springtime. you can still see the bareness of the branches but in the forefront there is big beautiful blooms of magnolias. i love how on each petal there are so many different shades. at the center of each flower, it is a really deep dark purple-y pink color and as you move to the tips of each petal it is almost white. the color just fades out and it is really pretty.

the diving bell and the butterfly post

I took a picture of a neon light in my room through my curtains. they are a sheer zebra print and i thought it turned out pretty cool. I love how it kind of captures my personality in one photo. i love how you can almost see individual threads in the curtain too... it almost reminds me of light shining down through the clouds when you can see different rays of light.

This is a picture of a tree in the lonesome. i really enjoyed this picture because of the oddity of the tree being in the middle of the flood all by its self.

Last Sunday observation

So this is a pic of my cat. I was trying to take a cute pic of him and
right when I snap it he yawns. It actually turned out cooler this way.
Wasn't even planning on using it as an observation but I liked the
image I captured

I was laying on my friends bed watching the fan spin because i was bored. I like all the black around the edges and how its blury until you get to the center where the light bulbs are.

I took this picture of the grass in my back yard. The lines from mowing it make a pattern and I kinda liked it.

I took this picture at my friends apartment. He had cut out the fronts of beer cases and put them on his wall like wall paper. I thought it was pretty creative.

I found this to pretty cool when I found the right lighting position. It was actually pretty close to this look...I just had to move in position while taking shots. I like how the light in the center focuses your eye away from the shadows.

Friday observation

I took this pic while washing my clothes. I like the different shapes
the suds make on the glass

Blog

This is a picture of my brush. It shows alot of texture because of the hair and beacause of the brush prickles. It also shows pattern in the brush.

This is a picture I took looking throught a perfume bottle. You are able to see all the things behind the bottle and everything is in almost the same color.
